The most successful Elk event in New England

The annual Beach Jam for Cancer Patient Care, started in 2009 by Jim Pino Jr, Skip Swift and the band Freeplay at the Westbrook Elks Lodge, has raised over $417,000 over its past twelve events. Net proceeds are donated to Patient Care Services at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven and Middlesex Health Cancer Center, where funds go directly toward helping patients in need pay for care-related expenses not covered by insurance. This event has grown to become the largest Elk event in New England, and one of the most successful Elk events in the Nation!

The Beach Jam takes place all day on the beach, featuring live entertainment from the area’s best bands (many being Elks members), a full bar, rain or shine tents, delicious food, silent auction, merchandise, children’s activities, fun on the beach, and more!!!
